Bowen 4 Kids is a specialist clinic just for kids.

Many children have chronic health issues which affect their lives on a day to day basis and the Bowen 4 Kids Clinic aims to help them improve their health in childhood and into adulthood. Conditions which can be treated include, but are not limited to:

• Asthma
• Cerebral Palsy
• Eczema
• ADHD
• Autistic Spectrum Disorder
• Bed-wetting
• Constipation
• Dyspraxia
• Headaches

The Bowen 4 Kids Clinic operates on a minimal cost basis.

A course is made up of six weekly sessions and all participants must commit to attending for all six weeks where possible. Most treatments for children will last between 15-30 minutes, and usually take place on the floor on a mat, or, on a parent's lap, depending on the child. Don't worry if remaining still is not an option!

Although sometimes only a few treatments may be needed to help, there are many conditions in which Bowen may be needed over a long period of time. Likewise, some children respond rapidly, whilst others take more time. For those with Cerebral Palsy, Autism or chronic conditions, weekly or fortnightly sessions over much of the year can be of great benefit. Many children (and parents!) also benefit from a few regular treatments every year, to maintain their health as they grow.

Courses will be held at The Alexander Centre in Tavistock. To find the Alexander Centre, click here. Places are limited to 8 per course so booking is essential. The total course costs £30.00 - equivalent to £5 a session. It is possible to continue with treatment after the initial course.
